What is UUPLOADIT.COM?
UUPLOADIT.COM is a free service that was created to help people send and receive files that are too large to be sent through other means. If you ever had to mail out CDs, DVDs, thumb drives, or split your files in to multiple attachments you now how a way to get those files to those that need them without the hassel of physical media.

How does it work?
Once you register and create a User account, your own personal storage space is created. As a Registered User, you can then create guest accounts for Guest to upload files to your account. Each guest will have a unique guest id and password assigned by you. Only authorized guests can upload files to your personal storage space. If you need to upload a file to a User, they must first register by signing up and then creating a guest account for you. We provide you a friendly interface to help you manage your files.

What do I get by registering?
Registered Users receive 200 Meg of personal storage space, full control of their files, full control of their guest accounts, the ability to upload files to their personal storage space, Email direct file links to non registered users, and full link code to use on another website. Hot linking is stricktly prohibited

Can I hot link to my files?
Hot linking is prohibited and is considered a violation of our "Terms and Conditions". In order to maintain this service free we ask you to do your part and comply. Although we allow you to post your links on other websites we ask that you do not abuse the service.

What type of files can be uploaded?
You can upload any type of file as long as it complies with our "Terms and Conditions". If the file contains copy protected material, you must abide by copy protection laws. Under no circumstances should you upload child pornography or other illegal material. If illegal pornographic material is found in your account you will be reported to the Authorities and your material(s) turned over as evidence.

How long are files retained?
Files are retained for a period of 30 days.

How long can I keep my account?
You can keep your account for ever as long as you use it at least once per year.

Who can upload files?
Anyone can upload files; it requires the consent of the Registered User.

Who can see the files?
Only the Registered User and System Administrators can view the files.

Is there a file size limit?
Yes, the limit is imposed by the amount of available storage in the User's account. In the event the user needs to upload a file larger than the available storage the Registered User must remove it from the system upon downloading it to his/her Computer. Failure to remove files larger than alloted storage or storing more than 200 Megabytes for period longer than 15 days may result in the account being terminated.

Who can signup?
Anyone with a valid email address that may find this tool useful.

Can I share the files in my account with others?
Yes. Registered Users can Email their links to non registered users using our email form or their own email client; in addition the user can post their links on other websites; however Hot linking is not allowed.

Can I upload a file directly to a Registered User?
Yes, as long as the person you want to share the file(s) is a registered User and has authorized you as a guest.

Can I disable a guest account?
If you are a registered User, you have full control of the guest accounts. You may suspend, remove, ban, or change guest account passwords.

Why is the service free?
The service is free because it is supported by advertisers and donations from users. We strongly believe that this tool is a benifit to our members and helps them on their daily life by allowing them to get their large files to those that need them.

Can I get additional storage space?
No, UUPLOADIT.COM was created to help people send and receive files that are too large to be sent through other means. 200 Megabytes of storage should be more than adequate for such a function. If you would like to store more than what we offer you simply search for file hosting services and pick one of those.

Are file uploads and downloads tracked?
No, we do not maintain statistics of the file transfers.

What happens to my files after the 30 day limit ?
All files are automatically removed from the servers, no backups of your files are ever made.

How do I terminate my account?
Log in to your account, click on Account Information, then click the link beneath the form displaying Close My Account.

Click on the link below the Sign in section labeled "Forgot your User ID or Password?".
